10 Ways To Practice Self Care

Self-Care is the most Important thing you can do. If you don't take care of yourself it will make it really hard to take care of others. Shoot for 5 minutes each day to practice self care.


The older I get the more I realize how important self care is. Here are 10 ways you can practice self care.


  1. Read a Self improvement book


2. Keep a journal/ Gratitude list- Everyday spend 5 minutes before bed or in the morning and write a gratitude list & Write in your journal.


3. Go outdoors- Go for a walk, Bike ride or Just sit outside and get some fresh air.


4. Get enough sleep- Try getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep. Go to bed the same time every night and wake up at the Same time Everyday.


5. Limit screen time- Set a limit on your screen time.


6. Talk to someone- Call a friend or family member.


7. Meditate /yoga- Make sure your phone is Off & there are no distractions. You can find tons of Meditation or yoga videos on YouTube.

8. Workout- Set 30 minutes each day to be active. Whenever I’m feeling down I push myself to do a workout and always feel better after.


9. Reduce clutter in your home, office, car, phone etc. Start in one small section.

Eliminating clutter would reduce the time spend on housework by 40%

Practicing Self-Care is easier said then done sometimes. Try scheduling at least 5 minutes each day. You deserve it!
